23rd February 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: 11 Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy and breezy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Monday 23rd February - walk * – Around Felixstowe – cloudy and breezy. The mild breezy weather continued today but with our van in the garage again I had to give windsurfing a miss today but after two gusty sessions on the River Orwell at Levington I was not overly disappointed:) Mag got the best of the day on her early walk, actually seeing the sunrise, that was short lived as it quickly clouded over but no rain today! I had to take the van to the garage but not before having a drive to the Trimley church to take a few pics of the most amazing display of daffidils:) Then home for breakfast and do my exercises before Mag and I went on our walk together. Down to Lidl, through Langer Park and out onto the prom, we sit on the pier for a few minutes to take in the view as a container ship heads out before returning home for a cuppa. We then had to walk to the garage to pick up the van and were very surprised they did not charge us for the work down! Also some good news, after two nights in hospital Maeva was well enough to be sent home, much relief all round!!!! Photo Album here |
